Joe Jr.s’ Story About Joe Sr.

My siblings and I were blessed with the best father, coach and mentor that any child could ever ask for.  He worked hard and sacrificed to provide us an opportunity to play, compete and learn priceless lessons through the game of golf.   Pops grew up without a father and had very little in his childhood and was determined to provide his children with every opportunity possible.  Pops dedicated his limited free time to giving his children and many in the neighborhood golf lessons along with taking them to tournaments all over the state.

Although we never made a future out of playing golf professionally, we were blessed to have career’s in the golf business filled with amazing memories and friendships through the game of golf.  When Pops retired after 40 years on the railroad, he started buying clubs for kids. Over the years he accumulated over 20,000 clubs which is how we’re able to provide clubs for the kids who take part in the Pops and Jr. Youth Golf Program.  Pops passed away on January 23, 2021 and I know he was excited to hear about the Program and all of the kids that will be positively impacted.
